All Free  Mazzoo Mazzoo  Sweet and Salty  Wrestling Mania

By incorporating the art... of Kashmir and Gujarat, the two stories have preserved the unique flavour of the different regions. This subtly introduces the child to its cultural heritage.

... a beautifully conceived pair of books... Srividya Natarajan livens up the two folktales from Gujarat and Kashmir with gorgeous illustrations.

What I like about these two folktales (Sweet and Salty and Wrestling Mania), and particularly about the second one, is the absence of value judgements, the simple exposure of facts which could sound either real and ordinary or imaginary and fantastic, all there for  the child's imagination to capture. The wonderful illustrations in Wrestling Mania create a humorous and light atmosphere, and childishness is completely avoided here.
