About Tulika
Tulika is an independent publishing house based in Chennai. whose imaginatively created books have pioneered a new wave of children’s publishing in India. Since 1996, we have published picture books in English and eight other Indian languages – Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati and Bengali so that more children can access books in the language of their choice.
The Logo
Our logo depicts kaka, the crow, a bright, busy, intelligent bird that is an unmissable part of the sights and sounds of India! And ‘tulika’, the name given to the old-fashioned feather quill dips into the old and the new to give children a sense of their world.
